Automation Scoping Session terms

  1. What it is. A paid 60-minute working session for a custom or complex automation project. Within 2 business days after the session we send a written Scope Summary: the problem, the proposed solution, systems, risks, acceptance tests, a fixed price or range and milestones. The Scope Summary is yours to keep.
  2. Fee. A$490, paid in full before the session. It isn't discounted or waived for anyone. AI Architecture Lab Pty Ltd isn't registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
  3. Before you pay. We confirm in writing that we can take the session on before we ask you to pay. The session is booked once we receive the fee.
  4. Fee credit. If you accept in writing a Custom Automation project for the same business, quoted in or directly based on the Scope Summary and identified as eligible in our written proposal, within 30 days after we send you the Scope Summary, the full A$490 comes off the first invoice for that project. The price in the Scope Summary is valid for the same 30 days. One credit applies per Scope Summary, per client. The credit can't be combined with any other credit or discount, isn't transferable, has no cash value and isn't refundable as cash. If the 30 days pass, the credit lapses and the fee stays paid. Dennis Wills, our director, may extend the 30 days in writing before they end. An extension applies only if confirmed in writing.
  5. Changing or cancelling. You may reschedule once with at least 1 business day's notice. If we cancel or can't hold the session, we refund the fee in full. Otherwise, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the fee isn't refundable once the session is held.
  6. What's not included. The session doesn't include building or configuring anything, or logging in to your systems. It doesn't include tax, GST or BAS advice. The Scope Summary doesn't guarantee any result, saving or revenue.
  7. Your information. We don't record or transcribe meetings or calls. Please share only the information needed for the session, starting with the least sensitive. How we handle it is in our privacy policy.
